I'll tell you a little summary. It is understood that in 1962 this band was formed in a stable manner, until its separation in the year 1970. The members of this wonderful band were Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and of course, John Lennon. However, it is very difficult to give an exact date in which this band was formed. More or less, in the year 55, John Lennon with his friend Peter Shotton, formed a band called "The Quarrymen". Peter, he left the band shortly after, but in 57 he joined Paul McCartney, followed by George Harrison
This band called "The Quarrymen" began to play in several venues of Diverpool (Place of birth of the boys) and at that time, they joined their bassist Stuart Sutcliffe. It was evident that they needed to incorporate a drummer as well. But before that happened, the name of the group, had several changes, such as "Johnny and the Moondogs" or "The Silver Beatles", until the name we all know and remember "The Beatles" in 1960.
This name, emerged in a way then, to put names of animals on the bands. They combined the word "Beetle" (Beetle) with the style of their music "Beat".
Finally they could integrate to a drummer, that had by name Peter Best, and after that they obtained a contract in a city of Germany (Hamburg) in a place called Kaisekeller; However, this adventure did not last long, since George was expelled from the country for being a minor and also for Paul and Peter for their misbehaviors.
In the year 61, they returned to Germany to give other shows and this time there was a better image of them. Unfortunately, two of the members would no longer belong to the group that same year; Peter left the band for a great discord with the other boys and was replaced by Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey) and Stuart died in Germany, because of a stroke. The result of this, is that there were the members that finally, definitively, formed this glorious band.

Brian Epstein after listening to them on a show, in 1961 ending the year, was amazed and became his manager; and at the expense of their great work, despite not having experience, they called it "The Fifth Beatle". Brian, completely changed the look of this band, changing the leathers rockers to elegant suits and hairstyle with fringes style helmets.
