WOW, I dont know most of the artists you mentioned, so definitely I have to do some further research. Great the see you have Floating Points in the list; Its in mine as well (when I would've created a best of last decades top albums :)) Skipping through the Prefuse 74 album, I fully agree with you this has great electronic music in it; Love it! (although not being a hiphop-ish guy, but fortunately,. almost no words :))

For sure. I saw a quote somewhere saying that that Floating Points album should pointed to to aspiring producers on how your music should "sound" (not in terms of music, but in terms of sonic quality). Easily one of the best records of the last decade, though Crush is quickly becoming another favorite of mine from him).

Goddamn this is a solid list!

Your taste is a bit all over the place like mine is, but hot damn if I'm not thrilled to see Fugazi in there. Fantastic album, that one. I think a LOT of people slept on BADBADNOTGOOD (the song you posted is absolutely one of my favorites by them), and those FlyLo and D'Angelo albums were absolutely fantastic!

Someone needed to show Fugazi some love! It kinda surprises me that The Argument doesn't get more love as I feel like it's not only an expertly crafted Fugazi album, it's one of the finest post-hardcore/emo/whateveryouwannacallit albums of all the last two decades, easily.

Glad you dug the list good sir! Thanks for peeping it!

COMPLETELY agreed. They're loved by the punk world, but they never got the love they should've from the rest of the music world. Odd ducks for sure, but the first time I heard "Waiting Room" and "Bulldog Front," that was it for me - I was a fan for life.

my world just stopped for few minutes during Tomorrow Comes Today from Gorillaz. I haven't heard it for a quite long time and you just remind me how great this song is. I started to wonder how I would build my top20 albums of the last decade and honestly during all those years I've been musically drifting from trashmetal, through industrial techno to downtempo and ambient with obviously all many genres of acoustic and electronic music between. How can we compare Marylin Manson with Tycho, Gorillaz with Amon Tobin and Fanu with Floating Points ? I have absolutely no clue and also I have absolutely no clue if I should watch your vlog first or continue listening to other tracks from this amazing list. I love your work man, really

Trying to figure out how to rank such desperately different music is no easy task. The way I went about ranking these albums was impact, fondness, and how much do I still listen to them to this day. Best example of would be something like Radiohead's Kid A: an album that completely opened up a new world of music to me that I remember fondly, but almost never listen to anymore (though I probably should go back and do so). I would start by forming some criteria for yourself and work it out that way.

Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed these picks!
