En tus ojos (In your eyes) - My first original song I've ever recorded in studio - Concert video

I'm really grateful to all those who came to meet me and listen to my music in my first post.

I've not had the opportunity to record something new to share with you yet , but I hope soon. I'm looking forward to enter @openmic challenge.

In the meantime, I would like to share with you my first original song that I recorded in studio for the album of Huellas - música de los Andes, a group to which I belonged back in 2008.

Here's a concert video of 2016. I was invited to sing in the show of a great friend named Rodrigo Siamarella, who generously gave me a space to show my music.

The song's name is En tus ojos which means in your eyes. I've wroten it in 2007...

Cuando me veo en tus ojos, mi vidita
Ay! Que sensación bonita, palomitay

Empapado de tu risa, quiero bailar
Y perderme en tu boquita, pal Carnaval.

Ay vidita, palomitay
Siempre en tus ojos churita,
Me encontrarás
... en tus ojitos churita
pa´ carnaval.

En el aire tu pañuelo, haces volar
En su vuelo junto al mío, uno será.

Mi mirada en tu mirada, quiere anidar
Y amanecernos bailando, pal Carnaval.

Translated to English should be something like this:

When I see myself in your eyes, my life
Oh! What a nice feeling, Palomitay (this is a nice way to call your loved one)

Soaked with your laughter, I want to dance
And lose myself in your little mouth, for Carnival. (It's a folkloric celebration that takes part in summer in Jujuy, a province in north of Argentina)

Oh my darling, palomitay
Always in your eyes churita (another nice word)
You will find me

... in your little eyes churita
for Carnival

In the air your handkerchief, you fly (this dance is called Bailecito, and includes the use of handkerchief)
On your flight next to mine, they will be one.

My look in your eyes, wants to nest
And dawn us dancing, for Carnival.
