Some people take music very seriously and the creative process does take a lot of work, but music itself should bring joy. Steven Wilson is widely known in the prog scene as a musician, producer and re-mixer. He has dedicated his life to music to the extent of not starting a family. His music is very thoughtful and the themes can even be depressing at times, but he's expressed a love of pop music that includes bands like ABBA. His latest single pays homage to that pop legacy. I hear elements of ELO in it too. You can see in the comments people saying 'Steven smiles!'. This is pop music and it will bring joy to many, even if some prog purists are not so keen.
The video is cool with a surprise ending. I saw stills of the filming that had some outdoor scenes, so I'm wondering if there is another version of this.

I am a big big fan of Steven Wilson since " Arriving Somewhere ... " and I ´d collected every single piece of music he has made so far.. Yes , he has a wide range of musical output. .. and now he proved he also can do Pop music as well. It´s good- I like it !

Music is a personal thing. There's plenty out there I don't really like. I like prog and some pop as well as a lot of other styles. Just putting it out there

Am a massive fan of Steven Wilson and his previous band Porcupine Tree. Am seeing him live for the 2nd time at the end of this month.
My only regret is that I didn't discover him earlier especially in the PT days.
There's simply nobody else better in todays world releasing music.. of course that's my opinion!
I've seen him a couple of times and Porcupine Tree. He's making some great music.
