Hey Steem Citizens,
I'm back, and I can't contain the excitement around Steem going up!!!
As a gift to Steem, I present: "Talkin' Steem to $3 Blues," an improv tune created by me while playing!
While the "Talkin'" form of playing is very standard (G, C, D, G chord progression), the lyrical plot/some phrases are from Bob Dylan's masterpiece, "Talkin' World War III Blues."
Hope Everyone Enjoys!
Feel free follow for more posts on music/health/science/travel.
A Happy Birthday as well to @craig-grant! You made it in the improv sir as usual!
Best thing I've seen all day, man! Nice work on the guitar. Really nice. I'm diggin' the Dylan photo over the shoulder too. Like he said in his Nobel acceptance speech, music's meant to make ya feel somethin'. You hit the mark, my friend.
Thank you very much man! I forgot that the Dylan poster was behind me haha....how appropriate! Talkin' Blues are the best for improvising because you don't need to always rhyme....just tell a story. Appreciate that you enjoyed and took the time to listen.
:) Great stuff Great Fun! Loved the lyric changes fantastic!
Thanks! I had fun with it!
I very much enjoyed your sing; the lyrics are true and humorous too! :D
Yes, don't sell! We're only about halfway to the all time high. We'll all buy our steem houses in the next year or two, when it hits $300!
Thanks for listening! 300 dollar Steem; It sounds sooo good! I had a good time just telling a story...that is what music is all about to me.
Now that's a Steemy masterpiece!!! Nice job Brother T
haha nice. hey, as a fellow guitarist can I make a suggestion? Your playing sounds good, I just think this can help ya out in the future!
Try anchoring your picking hand by keeping your pinky on the body of the guitar below your strings. This will help you stay more consistent with cross picking, alternate picking, and playing basslines, because your hand will move between fixed intervals thanks to having an anchor point.
I'm not physicist, but it's a tip that's helped me tremendously.
Love the song!
Will for sure consider that! Thanks for the pointers. I self taught myself on a right handed guitar....I'm left handed so it's always been a little difficult.
I love this picking style so will see if I can relearn to make it cleaner.
Glad you enjoyed; thanks for the listen.
This is great! Nice work sir. Just getting back into steem again but if this is the kinda stuff people are going to contribute I'm staying! Need to figure out a way for steemers to collaborate on some jams.. send tracks back and forth or something like that. Followed for sure and can't wait to hear more.
Appreciate the listen. Glad you liked it. It was a fun experience to create. Following you as well now!
I am also always wanting to collaborate!
that was funny and you gave me goosebumps. PRICELESS ; )
Goosebumps=effect accomplished. Much respect.

Appreciate the listen.
Good stuff man! The lyrics are great. Did you really improv that?
Thanks man. For sure...no written lyrics and all just made while playing. There were some lines throughout from "Talking World War III Blues"....all the Steem stuff was improv. Thanks for watching!
