The songs in Part 2, which I posted an hour or so ago, might be even less to your taste then. Though you might like Patti Smith, Because the Night. I've bitten the bullet and booked a hall for my 60th, after some pressure from my girlfriends. Just saying to @onetree how great it would be if some of you could be there. I'll just have to take photos I guess. Or boogy hard enough for all of you.
I am a huge Patti Smith fan (you will find her somewhere in my blog... but from about a year ago ). Her Easter album I reckon is brilliant... Horses less so.
I'll have to search for it. Did you like my suggestions for your ladies of the 80s post?
