RE: THE TRUE STORY OF THE DEATH OF KURT COBAIN

in #music7 years ago

I read the article and drugs definitely played a huge role in it. He had just left rehab for drug addiction. His highs from performing no longer filed the empty hole so heroin became a substitute for it. He was a chronic junky and no doubt that played a part in his mental health.

Sort:

all in all, drugs and depression are closely tied. depression is the overall killer but opioids and heroin will surely not help out at all. Being a musician, I understand the scene (not in entirely) but most people I meet perform to get away from their problems.. also while on drugs. well hey, whatever helps. you only have one life. Do as you please

I'm also a musician and have seen first hand deaths from addiction. It's a tale as old as time. I agree depression is the overall killer and I would like to add its because of the sensitivity to the world around them creative types feel the worlds depression more than most. However some make the mistake of thinking the depression belongs to them rather than seeing it as a symptom of a broken culture. Keep on rocking in the free world!

Could not agree any more!
