The tracks was originally a single by Steve "Silk" Hurley issued on the album Hold on to Your Dream in December 1986 and can be counted as classic Chicago house sound. The publishing label has been *DJ International / RCA/ London/ BCM/ Underground - a killer track.
It is considered to be one of the landmark records in the history of house music and became quickly a major hit single in the UK Singles Chart, reaching number one for two weeks in January and February 1987. Hurley first did not even know his song reached the top position in the UK - it was btw the first ever house song to reach the top position.
The song also paved the way for the acid house sound in general - it was his only major chart breaker tough! Check some of the good remixes here:
