Soo I've just launched a new service for artists 🥳
It is something I've been meaning to do for a long time but I just wasn't sure, and I was a bit scared of doing it to be honest (even though I was already doing it via my other services). But the other day, an artist asked me if I was doing EPKs (electronic press kit) for artists. I said yes, and I launched the thing the next day haha. It was the moment I realized I had to do it. So I did.
Every time I launch something new, I get super nervous, scared and excited at the same time. Figuring out what to do, and figuring out what works and what doesn't is actually a very interesting process.
I absolutely love working on EPKs - it is something I started doing many many years ago for artists/friends but now that I have more knowledge and experience, especially as a music blogger, it has become something that comes pretty naturally - mostly because I genuinely care about the artist I work with.
And I think I'm pretty good at it ?? So here I am haha :)
It just feels good to get paid for doing what I love. I never really got to experience that until this year. I've been doing all these things for free for sooo damn long. Today feels different and I'm very proud of myself, for actually doing it - even if it's hard.
