RE: Time to show some love ❤️❤️❤️

I studied pretty seriously all through high school (which was ahem over 20 years ago). Then burnt out when I pondered the competitiveness of music as a career. It's just been a hobby since then, and my piano is woefully out of tune. Thankfully I don't really notice.

What led you to a career in music?

Sort:

I've played piano since I was 6. I actually wanted to quit when I was in 5th grade, but luckily my mom pushed me to keep playing until I left high school. By my Junior year, I knew I wanted to sing, play, and teach. Plus, I loved theatre, so I went to school to combine them all. Now I run my own voice and piano studio at 33 years old, and I couldn't be happier. :)

I'm thankful my parents never let me quit!

Good for you!

If I'd known how close we were to the era of digital recording and sharing, I probably would have stuck with it. (Although it's still not too late, I suppose.)

It's never too late! To quote my favorite movie, Vanilla Sky, "Everything passing moment in another chance to turn it all around."

(I'm cheesy, I know! Lol)
