And yes, I would prefer to just sing really haha, but I'm a few years ago I was given a guitar and now onto my third I have been able to write my own music much more easily than without one.... Would love to get a duo going where I can just concentrate on my vocals more... :)

Have you ever done pieces where you have recorded your voice seperately? I'm a vocals man and would love to hear your voice in full detail.
I used to have a good program on my old laptop before it died... I havent gotten any thing off my old hard drive and have learned a lesson not backing things up. But I have done some home recordings separately from the music yes. I try and mix my music and still very much a noob at it haha. I just want to sing mainly, that would be ideal.
Having a google drive is probably the easiest way of backing files to the cloud, that I know of. Just move local files to google drive folder and you can reach them from every computer and mobile device.
I guess just having the mic in front of you rather than out of the picture would do well enough, until you can get your own studio wizard guy, hah.

I'm excited for it as it should make life of starting artists a lot easier. You could find your audience, team to work with and a distributing channel through that same service. At least that's the vision - they will also be offering a way for people to rent their equipment so that's cool also.

I just know a lot of my ability comes from the horriable things that I have been through - and I dont mean breaking up with a boyfreind or girlfreind. Yeah I understand. I have been through some things in life, and I suppose it has offered me an experience to share with the world. I am still dealing with many things but music has helped me in extraordinary ways. :)
