I like it! Maybe a little more variation on the drum track would be good, just to break it up a little. I have some songs I just shared too, they're some kind of electronic, although I haven't used loops very often.
Side-chain the hat/shaker sound, also alter velocity will give some movement. Fuck it side chain everything to the kick and leave the kick in more. I think there is way to much reverb on the kick, would sound super muddy in a club as your kick gains plenty of natural reverb in that environment. The snare sounds phat nice work!! As others have said a little more variation can be super simple like just adding a clave to the percussion on some sections.
Not to be a dick but the noises are a bit to random. It needs to be more cohesive throughout the song. Then again it's been years since my last gig so I might be out of date.
Cheers, yeah I have a few more songs since then, but I still ahve a long way to go. A lot time and effort goes into piecing it all together, but it's so rewarding, practice pays off! :)

What DAW are you using?
I don't understand? I'm very much still a NOOB. I mix my stuff with Adobe Audition.
Digital Audio Workstation. I play around on Reason but I seem to never finish any tracks...
Wow if this is your first that's amazing! better than my first! haha! I just followed you on sound cloud too! Here's my newest toasty song https://soundcloud.com/routenotecornflakes23/creamshack
btw, do you use FL studios? or what program do you use?
Thanks @cornington I'll have to check out your stuff :) I used Adobe Audition.
Cool idea. So how did you do it? Mixing loops from a software package or something?
Yeah, I like to mess with loops, turn things backwards, change the key or timing...
I used Adobe Audition

Keep building on it. That first forty second sounded like an amazing build up to a beat drop.
