4 Mounths ago I wrote a blogpost about "Investment and inflation" in Risingstar. I started a little test and wrote down some stats.
My idea back then was - Invest in cards, that should be the best opportunity. I was obviously wrong. Look at this stas.

I hope I did the research right....
If you have a lot of Starbits you have some differens choices. What the future will tell is hard to know. But last 4 mounths the best way was to......keep it in Starbits. Or just hope for luck and invest in the perfect card....sounds hard.
Today you can choose about:
- Buying cards - To get more fans and earn more starbits in every mission. But the price at market can really go up and down, as you can see above.
- Keep in liquid - To fast be able to buy cards in cheap price or cash out
- Staking - My favourit. Get some extra starbits by lock them up in at least 3 days
- Cash out - Maybe a good way if you think the price will collapse (I dont think so)

If you buy card packs for 100000 Starbits at the current price of 0.00036 (equals 36 HIVE) the content of the packs have to compensate the cost price. If you get only 12 rare cards then you will make a loss on every 12 pack because the common cards are mostly worthless (or not sellable) and the rare cards are sold on the market under cost price.
This may change if we have a bigger playerbase but actually I prefer to stay liquid for targeted buys (underpriced cards, missing unique cards or collections from players who give up playing RS). I don't rely on my luck on card packs.
Staking for records is a joke. It just makes sense (at least for me) for the first two days after the release of a track when the handful players who buy records at all want to keep their record collection up to date. After that non-buyers come in, staking for a record they don't want to buy for themself and watering the income from my massive stakes. If I see that I could not get a remarkable income from my stake anymore, I unstake immediately.
The last time I was able to compensate a bad days income with my stakes but usually I prefer not to stake anymore. Three days without liquidity can be a mess.
Cashout is only an option for me at a minimum price of 0.0005 HIVE. Starbits is the best currency for playing RS and the more you have liquid the better.

I can not agree really. I have made some stats and that show me that people buying different records. BUT of course you earn most if you are early in to a pool and people buy that record. Once I had 100 % of the pool some minutes- that can give som nice money
What is meant by 100%?
I was The only person staking . So I owned all The pool and did get 100% of The rewards
By staking, do you mean record staking? So there is a 3 day cool down?

Well I think this will depend on the situation, I am one of those who buy when I consider that a card is below its "normal" price but I usually keep a liquid amount for this situation, I do not usually stake because I think there are better ways to win, those if you dare to risk I think the price of the SB will rise and as new users enter it will give it more stability due to trust, so buy cheap cards and do some scalping now, the starbit has good fluctuation to do it, Greetings
There's also the option to stake SBs in VFTLabs which I did when it first came out. However, it doesn't seem to be doing much anymore so I'm not adding to it and have considered removing it to stake on records instead.
Other than that I mostly use my Starbits to buy cheap cards as and when I see them. I don't trade them but buy them to increase my total number.

It looks like many people has same strategy when I read the comments. Most will keep it liquid and use it to buy cheap cards. I have choosen staking-way even if it is low return.
I think staking is a good way to go. Even if returns are low it's higher than just sitting there doing nothing.
I tend to just buy the really cheap cards for numbers so I don't need to have a load liquid.

Nice work tracking some cards price for months. It is really interesting how card prices vary as well as starbits price.
My main objective would be getting 1M Starbits to get Millionaire Card so if I would have 500,000 starbits I would stake on record stake to get some interests from it. In fact, that was what I did to get more starbits in my road to 1M.

If I had 500,000 Starbits, I would put them in Stake in the VFT LAB pool so this way be able to multiply my profits and diversify. I hope I am pleased my comment.

claro que si es bueno porque con poco vas generando ganancias de su token y eso es una ganancia paralela y luego cuando tengas ya bastantes y los quieras retirar lo haces.
Puedes stakear starbits y luego cuando recibes esos tokens de VFT los puedes stakear también entonces recibes doble ganancia jajajaja
Of course, it is good because with little you are generating profits from your token and that is a parallel profit and then when you have enough and you want to withdraw them, you do it.
You can stake starbits and then when you receive those VFT tokens you can stake them also then you receive double profit hahahaha

BEER.I personally, I think I'm doing something wrong hahahahah, I'm concentradon trying to have more cards that have skill, I think that in my future I will need a lot of Skill to keep my ego at 0% so I do not worry much about the fans, of course I have to have more fans to earn more starbits for each mission but first I want to accumulate skill so if I tubiera 5000000 starbits I would spend half on cards with skill and the other half with cards in fans so I can maintain a good balance, greetings and I want to participate in the draw friend
