RE: Music Monday (feel free to add your own music)

Hey there! Really liked your choice, kind of groovy but also relaxing. The only thing more special than this mixture is the video which I totally love :D
Today I've got four songs. If you look at their genres they both come from the origin of electronic music but couldn't be more diverse in my oppinion.
The first two songs are from Little Dragon who I mentioned on past 'Music Mondays'.
Both songs are not only connected by sharing the same release date and front and back of an 12" vinyl, they are also connected by their lyrics and cover arts which are beautiful and as much works of art as the songs themselves.

The next two songs are more pumped up. They are from Virtual Self aka Porter Robinson and are called Ghost Voices and Particle Arts. Virtual Self's style (music and video) is heavily inspired by 2000's techno and video game music, trance, some vocaloid and Japanese style techno and even if I was far too young to really experience that time it just feels so nostalgic and great that 2000's electronic music gets a little revival by Virtual Self aka Porter Robinson.

Particle Arts:

I hope you enjoy (my) music and see you next time!

I just wanted to mention an interesting excerpt from an interview with Porter Robinson about Virtual Self which really speaks to me and my first experiences with the internet:

"There was a certain sense of escapism afforded by the internet that’s no longer the case. You’d join a chatroom or forum with a name that’s not tied to your identity and very little info was being collected about you. There were no algorithms trying to give you an ideal experience. Everything on the internet now is very much an evaluation of who you are and your self worth. Back then, you could depict yourself any way that you wanted."

In a moment of synchronicity, I've just written a little dystopia post about all this and yes I agree 100% https://steemit.com/blockchains-contest/@perceptualflaws/blockchain-writing-contest-welcome-to-the-brave-new-blockchain-gang

Hey my friend .. great track choice this week! Very eclectic, I didn't know whether to fire up the strobe and start dancing or dim the lights and allow the sublime beats to wash over me :) .. brilliant stuff! Thank you for the music @hashkeks .. you always come up with something new and fresh!
