Every Monday I intend to post a music video (and a few words explaining my choice) I invite you to join me by doing same in the comments section below. As the forum (hopefully) grows my aim is that we begin to inspire our fellow Steemians to broaden their musical horizons by listening to the music that inspires us. The only thing I ask is that (where possible) every song we listen to is played nice and loudly on headphones or speakers in order that we capture it’s true essence.
As more Steemians join this venture there is also going to be the possibility of being rewarded for our musical tastes via the amount of upvotes each song receives. That said please never feel awkward about posting a track, a guilty pleasure or even your own musical ventures. I have an extremely wide range of musical interests but also understand that music like beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder. As such I may play my chosen song, but who am I to define what constitutes good music.

Morning Buddy, with it being a Bank Holiday weekend I’m posting this a day late. This is one of my ‘secret favourite artists’ and I haven’t listened to her in a while, I had a massive crush on her when she first appeared in the 70’s with her unique style and quirky tracks.
Kate Bush - Running up that hill.

Still an imaginative and emotive track.
Hey no worries dude, it was an early one for me anyway as I've got a bloody toothache! Great choice my friend, I can really see where you're coming from .. she is very unique/captivating and this song is beautifully testament to that fact. Thank you for the music @tremendospercy .. I really enjoyed this trip down memory lane.
Nothing worse than toothache dude. I was in Mexico a couple of years ago and I had a wisdom tooth go real bad and needed serious painkillers. I found one called Supradol, it was amazing 1 tablet 8 hours no pain! I went back to the pharmacist and loaded up,I still have boxes of them. FYI I had the tooth out in a Mexican hospital, it cost me $70 and was the nicest, cleanest and most efficient hospital I’ve ever been too, beats the shit out of the NHS.
While newer than Golden Earring and some of the other classics I have posted, this one is probably considered an oldie by kids nowadays.
Few can name a Toadies song off the top of their head, everyone knows this song, and nobody loves this album like I do.
Good guitars, nerdy singer, twisted story, and such great changes. Whenever I am busting out a karaoke song for a bunch of people who have never beheld the Zeke, I often fall back on this one and givver.
Thanks @perceptualflaws! Monday rocks!
Haven't heard this in forever. Brings me back for sure.
See? Kids these days! ;) (Welcome to the coolest weekly music post on the blockchain bro!)
Hey my friend, this was a great choice!! I love the overarching guitar on this .. it almost takes on a life of it's own!! Another brilliant and inspired choice my friend, this was a corker .. thank you for the music @zekepickleman
I love the choice of tune, though now I have to respond along the same lines, new national anthem anyone?
Have a great week my friend.
Hey my friend, thank you for yet another inspired choice!! Many people remember Black Sabbath .. but I feel few remember just how good they were at writing songs, capturing the moment and the feeling .. then firing it back out at you. This track is one such example and for me it's one of the greatest anti-war songs ever written .. thank you for the music @deliberator
Here’s some good ole rock&roll👍 Social Distortion never got as big as they deserves but they are a band that lives rock&roll!

Here is my pick for the week!
John Maus- Hey Moon
Hey my friend another great choice .. you always hit the mark! I'm loving the almost ethereal 80s synth vibe going on here. Very chilled, very cool ;) Thank you for the music @fadedhistory
Great choice man. What a classic this song is. Here's another for you. This song never fails to put a huge smile on my face.
Thank you my friend .. and what a classic this is!! To say they don't make em like this anymore is the understatement of the century. Such a feel good song and such a good, chilled vibe .. love it!! Thank you for the music @patriciorayaz
Here is a classic. Genesis P-Orridge is an underground music icon!
Hey my friend, great choice .. a long time since I heard this, wasn't Orridge an occultist at some point? I guess the clue is in the name Psychic TV lol Thank you my friend, this gave me a much-needed spring in my step this morning as I'm suffering with toothache. Thank you for the music @sequentialvibe
Oh man I had a toothache a week ago....nightmare! Get well.
He was into a lot of things! I was the biggest fan when he was in Psychic TV doing their Acid House stuff on Wax Trax records.
He was also in Throbbing Gristle so essentially invented Industrial Music.
Chris and Cosey also came from Throbbing Gristly. I met them in Toronto a couple times. Amazing people.
I have always loved this song. The clip still makes me lol.
Haha .. wow I don't think you could get away with this these days lol .. imagine the outcry! :D Great choice though my friend and just the boost I needed this morning! Thank you for the music @palikari123
I discovered this song watching a Black Mirror episode called San Junipero, my favorite episode of that series.
Hey my friend, what a beautifully emotive, mind-expanding track this is! I'm a big fan of Clint Mansell and thought he worked wonders on the fountain soundtrack! I keep getting told to watch Black Mirror and so your choice and synopsis has spurred me on to do just that. Thank you for the music @dedicatedguy
Fantastic music every Monday and awesome virtual party :D Thank you @perceptualflaws for your feed.
My choice, old but gold.
Hey @crossroad yet another classic my friend. Man doesn't he look young!? Funnily enough, he almost looks too young for the depth of his voice :D .. but what a voice it is!! Excellent stuff my friend, thank you for the music!!
Kevin Little: Turn me on
I used to abuse this song (play it a lot) back in the day and try to sing along with it to the best of my ability hehe. I also used this song in a throwback music challenge post with a brief summary of the nostalgia. (If you didn’t see the mention / nomination already.)

Hey my friend, sorry I have toothache so I'd taken myself to bed before you posted this. Man it really takes me back! Tenerife was the holiday (I think) whether that's right or not, it's been a long time since I heard this and it's a very welcome trip down memory lane. Thank you for the music @hrissm I will be sure to take a look at your post.
No worries ! Feel better!
love to hear this music
Thank you @steemibu351 .. glad you enjoy
Song of Russian instructors in Vietcong. Perhaps you are interested in a song from the other side of the front.
