Ha I remember this very well :D One of my good friends used to DJ with these guys back in the day (around this time) and they are still good friends. This track and the era from which it evolved will always hold a special place in my heart and I'm so glad that I was there .. right at the forefront of perhaps one of the last great youth rebellions ;) Thank you for sharing my friend .. I really enjoyed this trip down memory lane and I'm glad you liked my choice.
Oh man it would be so cool to hang out with these genius maniacs! I heard Keith Flint bought the mansion next to his, gutted it and has parties all the time. The convergence of punk and techno in Fat of the Land changed music for me forever! I have worn out more shoes dancing to this band than straight up walking!
I hadn't heard that .. but it certainly wouldn't surprise me, I will have to check and see if my mate ever gets an invite ;) Yes that crossover was inspired andin my humble opinion is in a class of it's own and has still yet to be equaled. The last time I saw them was above .. I'm at the front :D
Awesome that you were there! I saw them at a rave in the early 90s (Chemistry I think - but how can one remember those details) and then on the Invaders Must Die tour and man that was NUTZ!
