I would prefer to live somewhere that consistently has over 100 degree weather because the cold and snow just gets more and more miserable as you age and harder to clear when it dumps a foot or two in your driveway. At least in a hot location you can still run A/C in your home and in your car or do things like go to the beach, go out to restaurants or shopping malls, etc. living somewhere that constantly has snow on the ground you're mostly home-bound and can't get out as much either.
Neither nor. Though first I had to convert the Fahrenheit into a worldwide used system like Celsius ;)
Living in a climate with different seasons (border zone of climate zones cfb and dfb) I prefer that. Ideal would be several places to live: one with "real" winter and snow and if that get's too much spend some weeks in a warmer climate ;)
