I see you're using an Android device, because of your reply to "Fknmayhem".
On your device I would suggest going to Settings -> Apps -> Scroll to "Steepshot" -> Mobile Data -> Activate both "Allow background data use" and "Allow app while Data saver is on" -> Go back a step -> Storage -> "Clear Cache". Also make sure Steepshot is updated in the Google Play store. Finally, give your phone a restart just to be sure.
If the problem still persists, follow the steps above, then try to clear the app data from Storage -> Clear Data. You'll have to sign in again, but hopefully it helps.
