I started with the Bitcoin whitepaper. Then the Ethereum whitepaper. After which, I started to read books on cryptocurrencies, such as "The internet of money" by Andreas Antonopoulos. At one stage, I was so absorbed that I started reading the whitepapers of the top 100 coins on Coinmarketcap. All these reading got me to understand the technology better.
Now I mainly read the news and articles to keep up with the technological development. If you are a magazine person, I recommend the CORE magazine (https://cryptocoremedia.com/category/core-magazine/).
So the key thing here is just keep reading. But do not to take everything you read by the face value. Cross check with other sources and think deeper about what you read. There are many fake information out there and you don't want to be too affected by them.
