Relationships can collapse easily when there is no love and trust and respect in such relationship,,a relationship
will only last long when the people involved in the relationship really love each other and they have trust
for each other and they also show respect to one another,,these factors are very important because it will enable the lovers to be able to be together enough to
overcome the challenges in relationships,,when there is lack of love, trust and respect in that relationship then there is nothing they can do to stop the collapse of the relationship...
The 2 main reasons are lack of communication and third party intrusion.
Communication between 2 people in a relationship is key to the success of that religious. Constant communication will enable you know more about the other person. Relationships with little or no constant communication end up folding up because most times, you see them having problems that would have been solved if you interact often. A fast way to fully understand another person is by interaction.
Third party intrusion
Many relationships have collapsed due to either parties allowing third party opinion. In any successful relationship, there will always be other people that wish to be in that shoes. They concoct lies or deep dig to find some secrets about the other person in a bid to destroy the relationship. You as a person, you should talk with your other half regarding the issue and what caused it and so on. Some people won't do that. They will just take the story from the third party and confront their other half angrily. This have a negative effect on the relationship. Don't give room for third parties in your relationship.
Here are eight things that most often make a relationship easily collapse and fall:
1. Infidelity
When deciding to commit to a relationship, everyone would expect their partner to remain loyal and honest. When the commitment is tarnished, it is very difficult to restore trust and end more in the destruction of the relationship.
Maybe there are some couples who want to try to improve relationships after he knows his girlfriend is having an affair. But most cannot cure heartache and choose the word 'break up'.
2. Bored
Many couples mistakenly interpret, which ones are true love, which are only a momentary desire. Many relationships are broken in the middle of the road due to boredom or loss of interest in one or two parties who are in a relationship. Asmara who initially felt so burning, in a certain period could be stiff, awkward and cold because of the loss of chemistry. Eventually there was boredom and the desire to immediately end the relationship, rather than having one of the parties increasingly hurt.
3. Parent's blessing
Quite a number of couples are forced to end their relationship because of parental permission. Even though relationships have been going on for years and when blessings are not obtained, inevitably break up into choices.
This parental permission is indeed important in any matter, especially love. Many people are worried that if they continue to continue the relationship without blessing, they are considered to be filial children.
4. Mismatch
Many couples end relationships because they feel too much incompatibility. Maybe initially they can accept each other's differences in everything, in the hope that the relationship will be more attractive and challenged. But when the relationship has begun towards a more serious level, often the difference becomes a point of conflict and a stumbling block.
5. Lack of Commitment
There are people who even though they already have a partner, but when meeting interesting new people, they will call themselves 'single'. If this is known by their partner, then their relationship is on the edge. This serious lack of commitment is the cause of the breakdown of relationships.
Another commitment problem that makes a relationship crack is that one of the partners does not want an increase in status to be more serious. Usually they do not want or are not ready to deal with a relationship that is bound to a marriage.
6. Vision Differences
This may be the cause of the most painful and frustrating breakup. Why? Because romance often ends not because both of them don't love each other, but the way of life they choose is very different. For example, the woman wants to get married and have children, while the man still wants to have fun or continue education. Another example, the woman still wants to pursue a career higher, while her lover wants to live a household.
7. Separate Distance & Time
Too long in distance and time apart (without intense communication) can diminish the love that each partner has. The difference in distance and time (because of work, education, etc.) can make a person - both from the women and men - change. As a result of never communicating, when both meet face to face, there will be a feeling like dealing with strangers.
8. Remember the former lover
There are quite a number of people who have a new lover so quickly when they have just broken up. Usually this hasty decision can cause a new love relationship to run aground.
The shadow of a former lover can make you compare it with a new girlfriend. You can also still try to find out and contact the former, so that you don't really care about him. These attitudes can make you break your heart again.
Trust is the most essential in a relationship and is something that is intimate which is the foundation of a relationship.
Trust is the most difficult to build in married life. Without it, a lasting relationship will only be colored by fear and doubt about the spouse.
2. Infidelity and jealousy
When a matter of trust can cause problems in a household, being considered unfaithful by a partner is the most difficult to pass. Starting from emotional problems and physical pleasure, being considered unfaithful by a partner tends to destroy most of a relationship itself.
Even if you decide to stay together, this experience is an experience that is very emotional to you, because being accused of doing something that is untrue and without evidence can destroy mutual trust and intimacy.
3. Communication difficulties
Many couples struggle with communication problems. Failing to communicate with a partner is the same as living with a roommate rather than a spouse. If it continues, you will feel isolated and lonely and seek emotional intimacy from elsewhere.
4. Lack of balance
Unbalanced relationships are usually common in young couples and can happen to anyone. Imbalances often occur when one of the partners or both fails to prioritize their relationship and take care of other people's interests or situations outside of marriage.

Many relationships collapses for various reasons but based on my own experience i realized that many
relationships collapse due to lack of commitment, lack if trust, lack of true love and mutual respect, when these
things are missing in a relationship then of course such relationship will be faced with alot of trouble and it
would make the relationship to become unfruitful and the relationship will definitely collapse...
