RE: Musing Posts

If I ask a good question and you make a pile off the answer you give, should musing delegate a portion to me??

As in, there could be a special checkbox that says "please send ten percent to the questioner if I make over X amount". Musings from an original muser.

Sometimes when people post their questions here, they are incomprehensible but still receive an answer. The person who answers intelligently may correct the question in it's spelling, grammar and punctuation before providing their answer. This way, they make what is being asked clear for readers while also providing a well thought out answer .

Musing encourages rewarding users for quality posts. If someone were to gain from a low effort or spammy question because of someone else's hard work I don't think that would be fair.

You do bring up a good suggestion  in your question description where it could be an optional checkbox and both parties gain. On the other hand it could also promote rewards for low quality question posts.

No. You get your share directly from musing through upvotes. I have had also quite a few questions that got to the hot and top section and I don't feel like I have to take some credit from the answers. Everybody gets his share. Of course the question has to be credited as being a "smart one" and in my opinion will have its share of upvotes, but the credit for the answer belongs to the one writing it.

I do get your point though.

Lots of good feedback so far!
