Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, is an additional layer of security that reduces the possibility of a hacked account. The idea behind it is that getting into service requires something you know. In this example is the password and time sensitive code sent to you via SMS. It is very important to set up two factors authentication on important accounts, especially those involving finance.
