Would you sell something you own for Steem?
If we want Steem to grow, this question should be one we should feel comfortable answering with a Yes, if we don't, we should be asking ourselves why.

STEEM is a cryptocurrency and has a value. So it wouldn't be a big difference to sell things for STEEM than with FIAT. The main difference is the transparency. I wouldn't like it that everybody can see what I bought. So a shopping platform on Steemit should implement the encryption of memos.
But maybe it'll be easier to use SBD for shop systems on Steemit ? If they get 1 SBD pegged to 1 USD it will be a stable cryptocurrency and by this far easier for companies as they don't need to worry about loosing money with a moving chart.
In my opinion I would sell if it were necessary but not something like my furnitures, devices, cltohes etc. I would comfortably sell my assets. if by selling them I can make something of myself in steemit I wouldn't hesitate. But the question will only arise after I choose to invest and when investing if I run out of fiat money..
I definitely would. I've bought things with STEEM and that was easy enough. If a easy process was made(dedicated site) I'm sure a lot of users, not just me would definitely sell there instead of EBAY.
yes i have to invest steemit platform so i sell my wrist watch worth 90$
