Well... yes and no.

Inner peace in essence refers to acceptance of... something. Some aspects of inner peace refer to acceptance of one's situation, others refer to acceptance of oneself. In this case, you were referring to acceptance of one's situation - and thereby balancing one's emotions - and that is certainly an important aspect of inner peace.

But... that's not everything. There's another important type of inner peace, that of accepting oneself, and that has less to do with emotions and more to do with constantly striving to improve, and acknowledging one's own accomplishments in that area. **That** is what I was referring to.

But yes, I am something of an intellectual :)
