As for me, people believe on superstitions simply because it has been passed by from generations to generations. We do not know what exactly happened during those previous generations. People especially those that are elderly are the ones who usually share those superstitions beliefs and when they are asked, they will just respond that there is no harm when you try to follow and obey. And most of the time, we obey and follow what they are saying. Some of us might find it strange but believe, people especially those in rural or in provinces or places that are far from cities still practice and believe some superstitious beliefs.

the scientists assert, that superstition and strong belief in magic spells are only an attempt for some people to regain control over the lives they have lost.

The authors argue that control of any situation is very important for people if it is not possible to threaten life. In this case, control plays a role.

But psychologists emphasize the fact, that people often look for relationships that don't exist between events in their lives, and believe that there is a secret mechanism for the rules of one's fate.

This is one of the psychological needs inherent in us. This article goes on to say, that at ordinary times people blame for their problems with certain events in their past.

Psychologists believe that it leads to the emergence of various rituals such as wearing protective talismans, fear of "bad omens", and so on.

These things aim to reveal the way of superstition in spring, the researchers asked volunteer participants to write compositions that describe important events in their lives.

Some participants explained the events that took place under their control, while others, in contrast, recalled things that were beyond their control to control, such as illness, accidents, and others.

The facts that speak say, that participants who describe losing their control over a situation tend to believe in different mystical signs and correlations between other mystical events.

The authors say, superstition is a form of compensation for loss of confidence in yourself.

Because we human think we should give everything an explanation, yet we are not as smart. How much truth do we, as human, really know in fact :)

So they start to believe something that can give certain things a reason, such as where we come from, etc.

Because there are bad ideas about God and lack of faith. In addition, according to Al-Qarni, there are heretical beliefs that deviate from tauhidullah, there are animist influences that believe in good luck, such as rings, wafaq, amulets, or Al-Qur'an lafadz installed in the body. A person who believes in superstition is usually less trustworthy in God.

Many who still believe in superstition may be due to family and environmental influences. Families or the environment usually have special rituals with a specific purpose. Usually, the ritual will be passed on to the younger generation to honor the ancestral heritage. Of course, the younger generation with a narrow perspective, will only believe in beliefs that are considered normal. That's what happened.
