I was surfing through a forum this year March, so I saw a post about steemit, I clicked on it to know about it, after reading some pages, I headed to steemit website and created an account, but unfortunately I read that a message will be send to my mail within seven business day. I sat down and start checking my mails everyday until the last , I finally gotten approved. Due to some reason then I started working In April. It wasn't cool at first, I post randomly without yielding good results. Then I came across a community which is Steemians Arena, I was advised there to be doing what I love to do, and I was a mathematics lover, I started writing on mathematics and the earning started.
My reputation now is 45 with 20SP, I have earned many SBD and STEEM which I can't really remember the actual amount.
Only 20 SP but many SBD and STEEM? Did you sell it? WHat did you spend it on?
I had a similar experience: when you find your niche, a community around an interest, you will thrive and be motivated to invest more work into your posts :)
My account was approved and created last December 28, 2017 but just started being active on the platform third week of January 2018.
Based on the link you provided above, I have now earned 1,197.33.
My natural Steem Power at the moment is around 960 and may have done some little cashouts every two months (not power downs but liquid Steem cash-outs).
So yeah! Compared to others I honestly think I am doing pretty good on this platform for someone who didn't invest any real money in here nor have friends when I first started out. :)
That's awesome! And yes, you really did d oa good job collecting that much SP since December, last year. Can you make an estimate from what activities did most of your SPcome from? Using Steem-based dapps or blogging?
I actually do a monthly report on my progress and keep track on what I did differently the previous month. Here's last months report: https://steemit.com/milestone/@jlordc/eighth-month-on-steem-my-progress-so-far
I'm not gonna lie though everything changed on my fifth month and got to know neoxian and dimimp who have been a great help on my Steem journey. Most of my big upvotes comes from neoxian and have received some liquid steem from dimimp too. So I'm pretty thankful towards. :)
2months ago, I've started using bidbots and have since relying on platform votes from eSteem and Steempress. Although this week, I mihgt have started to boost some of my post.
I meant to say here, started "not" using bidbots or stopped using
Can't find edit lol
I became a Steemian nearly three months ago. But I didn't make any money because I kept all the STEEM and SBD that I got (with some exceptions for services like Dustsweeper and Steembasicincome) and powered up. I got 35 SP till now from that - if that was what you wanted to know ;)
Yes, that was what I wanted to know! Thank for the answer but I need to ask you another :D Did you earn it through blogging or by using Steem-based dapps ?
Cool that you already know about services like Dustsweeper and SBI. It took me the longest time to find out about them. Now I actually host two contests where I give out SBI shares. One is for travel bloggers while the other is for anyone with a grain of cretivity. Check them out and see if you might want to enter yourself :)
Travel contest: https://steemit.com/travel/@runicar/steemit-world-map-challenge-32
Caption Contest: https://steemit.com/contest/@runicar/caption-contest-38-or-winners-of-37-or-new-art-caption-contest
I did most of that with blogging, though answering questions here on Musing is not without its own reward ;) I tried Steemshot and Dlike once or twice but don't like them. And I tend to write more comments than most do because I like interacting with others.
Don't really know I joined months back I can't say I have made much
