You can't delete your answers on musing.io, you only have the opportunity to edit your answers.
After posting your answer, you will see an edit icon at the top of your post. Click on the edit icon and make all necessary corrections.
It is just similar to steemit.com where you are only able to edit your post and not delete your posts.

You will have to enter the answer, hit the edit button, delete all what you wrote and then click submit. It happened to me also to see double threads, even with questions.
