I have some ideas. Using these ideas someone can earn some money but don't think to be millionaire in no time from old clothes.
In our country their are some people who used to sell aluminium made dishes. Cooking dishes, or any other cooking material or aluminium made things. Aluminium is cheap in our country and I think it's cheap every where. So what they do is they sell the aluminium pots or dishes for old clothes. Specially they look for children clothes because children grow faster than others and their clothes stay as new. They also take adults shirt, pants, other clothes and sometimes shoes. They take them instead of money just based on assumption. And that assumption always make them winner. Suppose for one cooking dish Mr. Z gave three shirts. The dish's price in 100BDT (BDT=Bangladeshi Taka). The seller took three shirts because he knows after washing pressing them in house he will be able to sell by 60-70 BDT each of them and he will get 80-110 BDT as profit. So this way if he can take 50 clothes par day and sell on the next as I said then think how much he is incoming in a month. And it's happening. So you can try this.
Another idea is you can use your old clothes to make designed and colorful pillow cover for you sofa. Adding different colors cloth pieces to a cover will give it a new look. Make some attractive pillow cover and take pics then put them online like facebook, or instagram and try to sell. Also you can make some hot dish holder with the help of your old clothes then sell them door to door.
If you have a creative mind then use your old clothes to create new fashionable clothes. Give them various design and styles and make video to upload in youtube. You don't need to sell clothes. Your youtube videos will return you the favor by money and you will be famous also.
Lastly I can say that cut old clothes like lace and tie them on the edge of a stick like mops. You will be able to sell biggies as mops and tines as car dust cleaner.
And don't forget to make some hand fan. There will be a lot of colorful hand fans from your old clothes. Ladies likes hand fans which are also called folding fans. Sell them in the beaches and earn some extra cash.
