It's hard to earn money because we are naturally driven by supply and demand. We only find value in what we need at the time we need it and what's available. So a person looking to provide value in exchange for value. Needs to be putting out equal value.

Unfortunately what is being offered by the seeker may not be what is in demand. So that makes it more difficult. If you have something to barter that everyone has in large supply. Then i may not want to trade you for what you have. I may not be able to as i may need something i find even more valuable to live at the time.

So money is not really money in the terms of how we think of it. I think of it more as energy or limited control over resources for durations of time. So these aren't just things moving around like paper. These are representative of things we really need.
