Thank you so much kim. I've always compared myself to others. My works,my pieces, everything. When I started writing poetry on steemit, I was a bit hesitant. There are lots of good writers here, better than me. Through time, I've realized:
Wait, I should not compare myself to them. I should learn from them.
Hence, I joined lots of communities here that offer poetry workshops. There will always be someone better than you- yourself. Your post speaks to me in countless ways as a writer. Now, I am slowly learning to be better than me, improve and be better than what I am now. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed this post, as always. <3
