7/13 ANDY HOFFMAN (CryptoGoldCentral.com): Donald Trump And Bitcoin Rhodium

in #mwc5 years ago

Last week, Donald Trump made some comments about not liking Bitcoin, and disapproving of Facebook’s new Lybra cryptocurrency. They seemed to be far more pointed at the centralized Lybra, than the decentralized – and increasingly uncontrollable – Bitcoin; the latter of which, didn’t react significantly to the “news.”

For reasons I have discussed ad nauseum, attempting to regulate, control, or even vilify Bitcoin is becoming increasingly difficult – and politically unwise – in most of the world. However, the ability to make things difficult for Bitcoin’s price still exist – if, for example, someone like Trump were to attempt to make exchange trading more difficult.

It is not a fear I have, especially as I don’t hold Bitcoin on exchanges or expect such threats to result in meaningful actions. However, for some it is considered a risk, and not just in America (India, perhaps?). This is yet another reason why a decentralized store-of-value asset like Bitcoin Rhodium can be such a great diversification tool, particularly for small investors that can’t afford much Bitcoin.

Not only is fiat currency not required to buy XRC – as right now, it trades only for Bitcoin; but the exchanges it trades on are highly unlikely to ever be affected by rogue politicians. Plus, unlike Bitcoin, whose privacy features are unlikely to be changed in the near-future (not until the MimbleWimble revolution takes hold, in my view), the XRC devs are seeking to add privacy features by year-end.

So, in XRC, you are getting a coin that has not yet discovered – but likely will be, following a “HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT” (per its anonymous lead dev) within the next month; and thus, can be bought for just a $10 million market cap valuation today. Not only that, it pays a dividend, will shortly have privacy features, and will imminently (upon an upcoming, firmware update) have Trezor support. Best of all, XRC is completely off the radar of any official types that might harbor a desire to regulate or attack cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin Rhodium currently trades on p2pbp2.io, WhiteBit, Trade Satoshi, Fat BTC, Sistemkoin and Bisq. If you have questions about anything XRC-related, including OTC trading, please email me at [email protected], or DM/PM me on Twitter or Discord.
