I don't have an ID for any of these. There are so many little brown mushrooms, it's almost impossible to identify them without destroying them.
Thanks for looking! If you have any ideas on identification, please let me know! I am happy for any help in furthering my education.
Stay tuned!
All photos taken by me using a Samsung Galaxy S6 Smartphone and edited in Snapseed.
It is interesting to note, that in the USA the study of brown mushrooms was halted, because many/most of them contain hallucinogens. Hallucinogens were mandated to be classified as poisonous. Even to this day, campaigns happen when mushrooms appear to convince the public that all mushrooms may be poison . No funding or support will be given to classify brown mushrooms. However, if you can read Spanish or German you may find many books with proper classification. As brown mushrooms in the USA have been studied by other countries, and untranslated works are out there.
That is really interesting. They try so hard to keep us from ourselves that we fail to learn anything. I need to keep an eye out for more identification books.

Those are some spicy looking Fungi, no idea what they are but you took some great photos of them!
Haha! Many thanks, @c0ff33a!
I love these photos of LBM's. I don't spend much time learning them either because there are too many brown ones and hard to differentiate and many are toxic. With that being said, the second photo looks very similar to a bolete I know and love, he is an old man... but I can't tell if the cap is bumpy or smooth and can't see the gills or pores. The other's are just cute LBM's to me, lol!
I try so hard to get pics of the undersides but that seems almost impossible without picking the mushroom. I hate to do that because it destroys the chance of someone else enjoying the sight. I really should take field notes!
I don't know a lick about brown mushrooms, but I love your photos. Besides the mushrooms, you captured some really nice looking lichen and moss.
Well, thank you so much, @themerrylotus! I really appreciate that. 😊
So beautiful pics!!! I love to walk in the forest to search mushrooms, I pick up just the mushrooms that I perfectly know as porcini (boletus edulis) ^_^
I would probably only pick up the known edible ones, if I ever found any. It seems I only find inedible, or poisonous ones.
