As you can infer from my username, I'm a DIY investor. As a casual and sometime dabbler in what I like to call micro-investing, I'm currently hedging my way through stocks, startups, and the cryptocurrency market, a few bucks at a time. (Yay for fractional investments!)
wasWhile I'm new to #hive, I'm no stranger to this platform's predecessor, #steem. I haven't been active on the STEEM blockchain in a number of months, but for the short time I active in 2019, I published mostly photography and travel posts as @oheyo. For an even shorter time, I also began curating photography under @prettypictures.
I do have plans to revive my STEEM-powered blog here on HIVE, but we'll see.
To be absolutely, abundantly clear (if it's not already obvious), I'm not an investment guru, nor do I claim to be one. I'm just a woman with some curiosity about the market and a few extra bucks to invest every so often.
You can expect me to post about my experiences as well as share insights and info I pick up along my investment adventures. When it comes to investments, I'm looking for deals, which to me includes everything from innovative biotech startups with tons of upside potential to tried and true long-term holds near their 52-week low. (Bonus if that undervalued Blue Chip still pays dividends through thick and thin.) When I find myself in need of a few extra dollars, I look for legit ways to earn more money, so in addition to personal finance and investment content, I'll be sharing about those experiences as well.

I have found it to be relatively similar to Steem, theres some minor disputes about vote buying going on, so be cautious investing in curation bots right now, I have lost over 5 Hive in rewards over a week due to 4 accounts that downvote my community for supporting each other.
I am slightly concerned these bots will attack the communities feed but we will see.
Yikes! Would you be willing to share which curation bots you've seen dicey-ness with? I currently upped my delegation to Tipu and Curangel here on HIVE (from my personal photography/travel account).
I have to delegate to @tipu again and can say it was not tipu that was getting me downvote reputation, I will link you to a post so you can see the downvotes, I am worried if i tag the psychic leech bots they will downvote you too.

Yes I have some outlandish opinions but if you read between the lines the downvotes were note hitting me for my ideology, they are 4 accounts that have targeted the last 2 posts in this list.
the first post was more of a personal conflict involving religion so I expect drama when faith is involved. This just gives a full perspective of what I speak of.
The community being hit but not targeted specifically is @canna-curate
