Who am I?
Who is @postapocgamer? My name is Chris and I live in Colorado. First and foremost I am a single Dad to two great boys. They are what keeps me motivated. I am a video gamer, been playing video games since the first Legend of Zelda came out and been at it ever since, and now I prefer the Post Apocalyptic genre (Fallout for the win). I am a board gamer, and have been playing those for a few years (Zombicide also for the win). I have been in IT for many, many years. And I am new to Crypto and Play to Earn games.
So how did my crypto journey begin. Well, with much hesitation. My good friend teaches accounting and wanted to get into crypto a bit just to see how it works and learn more about it. As you can imagine with a name like @postapocgamer, I was hesitant with this fake internet money, and kept fighting against it. Until a "failed" kickstarter gave me the option of getting a refund in BTC. That's when I setup my first wallet. Shortly after the same friend show me that I could make money playing Splinterlands and I was instantly hooked. Now I mainly play Splinterlands, Rising Star, and collect CryptomonKeys NFT's. I dabble with others but those are the main ones.
