mmmm venison!
we pan fry ours -cut it thin, 1/4" or less across the grain. a couple pats of bacon grease in a cast iron skillet/pan
smidge of salt & pepper with some fresh onions......
rarely get a chance to even put it on a plate. the family just hovers at the stove top and they pick it out of the pan as it's done. heh... like a pack of vultures ;-)
