The moment you realize you maybe down one Trail Camera!!!!

Never a good thing when a bear discovers your camera.

Says after the second photo he hasn't received another photo since.
usually most customers purchase a security box and cable. Haven't seen a bear yet that that has worked for....
Powerful creatures.

I found a solution that has saved many cameras. Spray your camera with a scent Eliminator spray.
Animals can smell your scent on the camera even if you wear latex gloves ( which are worse) .
We set cameras about 10 ft apart from each other spraying one with a scent eliminator and the other without.

Of course the non scent camera was never detected. This has saved many cameras. Small fix for a pretty expensive product.....

I learn something new every time you post about your cameras. Didn't even know there was such a thing as an odor eliminator spray that actually takes away the human scent. That must be something you find in the hunting section. :) Or is that your general way of saying Lysol? :)

It's really too bad about those cameras. Pretty spendy to replace, especially if it keeps being destroyed by the same bear over and over.

yes sir, no Lysol...please..lol....We used scent eliminator from carbon skin products. Works like a charm....

Great tip, thanks for sharing

You are very welcome..Nobody wants a bear to walk off with thier $400 + camera.....lol

This is outstanding footage you have captured! Wow!

Great footage but bad as well....lol
