A few months ago during the 'Team Malaysia's Zord Mini Gathering' at Avenue K, there was a brief idea from @bitrocker2020 stating that it would be good that kids can join Steemit to earn some side pocket money as well. I honestly never thought it was something that would come to fruition but look where we are now!
Introducing #myjuniors of Team Malaysia
Led by the very lovable @elizacheng, a mother of 3 lovely girls, @halleyleow (9 years old), @ryenneleow(7 years old) and vinnie (4 years old). She was the perfect role for leading #myjuniors. And YES! The daughters have their own Steemit account!
@elizacheng have been helping with the postings for her daughters but the content is originally from them. That's the beauty of #myjuniors. Kids are given a space to show their creativity in their drawing, painting, writing and many other talents that these young kids have. Aside from the original contents from these kids, they get rewarded with the payouts which can be used to pay their tuition fees, college fees or an ice cream :D
My smile beamed from ear to ear when they drew these sharks for me. It was also because they love the song "Baby Shark by Pinkfong". The drawings were so adorable and they're in my hall of fame.
What is #myjuniors?
The main aim for #myjuniors is to foster a deeper bond between parent and child and enable them to understand and guide their child better. This will not only happen through postings on Steemit, but there will be a lot of workshops and events monthly. These events will help build the children's talent as there will be a lot of arts & crafts workshop, painting, cooking and maybe singing competitions.
These will all be catered specifically for kids so they can learn and earn at the same time. Do check out #myjuniors official announcement here.

It is TOMORROW!!! And I'm super excited. Chinese New Year is just around the corner. Hence, this workshop, we will be teaching kids some arts and crafts using angpow(Red packets).

Sounds like a super exciting event tomorrow, hey! Wish I could be there to 'contribute' some of my teacher stuffs/knowledge. MWAHAHAHAA! Have fun, nonetheless, @zord189! Maybe can record a video of you doing the Baby Shark dance. :D

FINALLY! They're all so lovely! Hehe, so cute that they go in a small tiny group together.
Imagine in 5 years time we have 9 years old who are fully proficient in creating and curating content, plus they will have financial literacy too because of their exposure with cryptocurrency..
#myjunior is likely to be bigger than we all can understand...
...and comprehend too @awesomianist. Where the current education system fail us, that's where we will have to step in and do our mighty best to educate the future leaders of tomorrow
You are on the spot. A systematic "one size fits all" education system is outdated and obsolete when there is a powerful and fully effective disruptive alternative.
I seriously shudder at the thought of how ahead these juniors will be by the time theyre my age.. Having been experiencing a technology that will educate far better than the 4 walls of a classroom.
Just look at the resources in #steemstem and #steemeducation for example. And I hear there are works to fully publish a degree course materials onto the Steem Blockchain.
Parents these will have far more tools to educate our children than ever before.
