I'm headed to New Orleans this weekend and I was in direr need of a haircut (according to me anyway 😉) so I left work little early to head to a excellent barber shop - pictured in the photograph above - on the Corner of Salem & Parmenter St. in the North End of Boston. Being that I work in Cambridge it was 1.5 Miles away walking... for me thats an easy choice , take the walk! Luckily early today I had ran during lunch so I had my running shoes with me, I traded my dress shoes for the running shoes and I was off. Mind you I was still in dress pants and a button up... 84 Degrees out (29 C)... so sweat was inevitable and I was fine with that.
So as I begin to walk I figured I would snap some photos along the route and share the experience with all you fine folks. I also figured it would be a good first entry into the MyPictureDay Challenge by @timsaid, so here we go...
All of these photos were captured using my iPhone7 Plus, are in the order taken, unedited, and none were removed, so there are quite a few. I also included a map of the route taken to the barber shop and I will indicate where those photos end. I continued to snap photos on my way to South Station where I proceeded to take a train home.
This ends the trip top the Barber Shop and below is in route to South Station.

Awesome pictures. Ive never been to Boston, but hope to visit one day. Have fun in New Orleans. Was able to visit there once for a couple days for my cousins wedding.
It's a great city to visit and walk around. New Orleans will be a lot of fun , both very old cities and full of history.
to visit multiple locations in your picture may require time. But I'm glad surround this city cool and beautiful. I don't like taxi, I have a bike because I want to be free see the activity of this city. hahah

It actually only took about an hour , I walk quite fast and Boston is a city where you can walk everywhere with out an extravagant amount of time 👍
I need a hair cut too. Trying to find some memories of the Boston I been to several years ago during a trip to New England. Everything doesn't look familiar.

Rad, I've never been to Boston.
The brick work and some of the narrow avenues made it feel like it's been around for a while.
When you got downtown it almost felt like Manhattan.
