MyPictureDay Submission | The Life Of an Old Man

in #mypictureday7 years ago (edited)

From a distance, I saw an old man walk slowly while pushing his old bicycle. At first, I just thought he would go home, but my guess was wrong. He walked to a small hut beside the creek.

When he reached his place, he put his old bicycle in a small park beside the river, then hurried to the little hut while carrying all the equipment he needed.

What is he doing on this riverbank?

As a man who has a strong conscience and instinct, surely we can not bear to see it. On the banks of this river he's looking for a bite of rice, by catching fish, then sold to people in the township, and all this is done to meet the needs of his life.

On the other hand, I salute, even proud of this old grandfather, He works, struggling to do this all without having to ask anyone else.

The place where this old grandfather used to sit was located in Nusa Village, Lhoknga Aceh. You will find this old grandfather, if to this place around 06:00 to 08:00 PM.

Here are some pictures I took, and hope you guys like them.

Thanks for sharing

We always say life is beautiful. But for some of the people like this old guy, it is really struggling. Really salute to this old fellow for all the hard work. Thanks for sharing such good post.

Thanks @dindar, This kind of behavior as a whole usually lasts from childhood, plus a sense of self-responsibility that forces oneself to struggle.

Thanks so much @funtraveller, @photocircle, This scene is very common in rural areas, especially in Aceh. All caused by various factors in life, poverty, and so forth.

That is the things that we dont witness here in the city. Im glad to see the rest of the world through your photos. Thanks for sharing it to the community. Congrats on the curie vote, you deserve it :)

Thank you for your feedback, I am also very happy to share all the experience in the form of a simple image here.

Bagus lensa ni pasti ya

Lensa hanya sebagai alat, moment yang paling mendukung.

Verygood photo

He who knows how to be poor knows everything. Poverty is good in terms of poems, maxims and sermons, but very bad for practical life.
I was captivated by your post

Ferengi rules of aquisition #47 "Never trust a man wearing a better suit than yout own". Or rule #109 "Dignity and an empty sack is worth the sack".

You know how to make me proud of u buddy, let's back to be a human with heart arround. Keep this to our memory to share it with our next generation.

That is huge amazing photos and story. The photos themselves runs great...I just have Xiomi camera. The old man /Teungku wa shows something strange...I means looks like the old man has Ma'rifah and syari'ah knowledge.
