Do you like sunset photos with breathtaking views of the city? This post is for you!
Hello, my friends fellow Steemians! Today I suggest that you spend the whole day with me and look at the city of K. with my eyes.
My city is called Kostroma. It is very old, was founded in 1152. The city has many attractions, but I will show you the streets and places that I pass almost every day.
We set off!
All of you know that in every city there is a main, front street, it is beautiful and always in order. But we will go along the small streets of Kostroma. This road I pass twice a day, because here goes the way to and from school. I take my child to school and take him home. Here you will find colorful old wooden and stone houses.
Now spring and all the houses are decorated with icicles. Some houses are protected by a tape for safe passage. Unfortunately, this is not a very reliable tool. Therefore, we walk the streets very carefully and carefully.
But let's not talk about sad things. Look at the beauty around. When the sun comes out, deep shadows appear, in the spring it is especially beautiful. Old surfaces and textures are very different and very attractive for photography. It's good that I prefer to take photos on my Iphone 5S, it's always with me, so I will not miss good shots.
Sometimes I go to the courtyards of houses to find new angles and views on the photo. Always pay attention to the design of windows from a tree, they are called platbands, these carved frames protect the house from evil spirits.
On this day I saw beautiful clouds on the horizon and in the evening decided to go to the Volga River to photograph the sunset. Go to the river for only 10 minutes. On the way I admire the church - it is the Epiphany Cathedral, the main one in Kostroma.
And here I am by the river. The sunset is early, at 19:05 the sun is already setting. The sidewalks on the embankment are flooded with water from the snow that melts. The sun sits in the clouds, creating stunning patterns in the sky and on the earth. In some places the ice on the river has already melted. On the edges of the ice floe gulls and very loudly scream, they meet the spring.
My goal is achieved. It's time to go home. I pass through the historical center, take pictures of shopping arcades and a watchtower. Wonderful warm spring evening. The day was over, it was bright and interesting, I had good photos and impressions.

Классный у вас городок. Невысокий, но красивый. Много старых красивых домов, с наличниками, Волга под боком. ) У нас тоже это есть, но уходит постепенно. Застраивается
Это центр города, можно сказать историческая часть. Город не такой уж и маленький, а многоэтажки в новых спальных районах. Старину берегут не особо, много деревяшек горит, разваливается. Скоро наличники мы сможем увидеть только в музеях (
The pictures just speak for itself. You sure have made winter, ice and snow more beautiful. I love everything about it - color, detail, reflection, etc.
Spring and autumn are the most interesting times of the year in my opinion, when we can see the rapid changes in nature and make beautiful photos )
You have made this winter beautiful just the same :) I think the spring and autumn is known to have those interesting vibrant colors whereas winter covers all that. The way look at things made winter has much beautiful as well.

Фонари отлично! А у них стекла зеленые или лампы с зеленоватым свечением?
У меня вот с фонарями вечная проблема из-за противного желто-оранжевого освещения при ночной съемке в городе. Только Ч/Б позволяет избавиться от него.
Фонари обычно светят желтоватым и очень лучисто всегда получаются, но здесь их только что включили, и свет был таким. Как только это произошло, я вспомнила ваш пост и совет, действительно, интересный эффект в этот момент можно поймать. Так что, спасибо!
