Myshield Innovative Anti-Scam Platform

MyShield will alert users whenever they reach a fraudulent website, an online counterfeit sale, and other types of online scams. MyShield is aiming to bring trust to the e-commerce and online market where the costs of counterfeiting and piracy is estimated to reach $2.81 trillion in 2020. At first, MyShield will focus on the cryptocurrency industry, which is flooded with phishing, fraud, brandjacking, etc. MyShield will provide users alerts against scams and Crypto-transaction validations. The MyShield model is based on two sources of intelligence – reports on potential scam by users of MyShield shared with the community, and providers of AI powered cyber-intelligence. The information from both sources will be recorded on the MyShield blockchain, which will be launched on an existing blockchain and will be used as the source for the alerts and validations. The MyShield decentralized platform includes bounties created by MyShield and by companies, organizations and users in order to incentivize members of the community to report potential scams. As the market evolves, the solution will be adapted to the whole ecommerce and online ecosystem.
MyShield intends to provide a solution to users that will alert them of online scams, including phishing, fraud, counterfeits, etc. The decentralized platform will be based on two sources of data stored on the blockchain – reports on potential scams made by users, and AI powered cyber intelligence providers. The MyShield ecosystem, will reward users that report potential scams for community use and benefit, with bounties from MyShield as well as from companies and organizations that are interested in encouraging such reports related to their brands.The MyShield token, is a “Token of Trust”. The MyShield token represents the value of trust, by first providing value for the scam reports made by users, and second, for the guarantee MyShield provides based on those reports.

A great example of the ongoing scam potential, fraud attempts, and thefts can be found in the IOTA case published January 2018 (~$4M stolen from private wallets). According to an interview with Koen Maris, IOTA's cybersecurity advisor, published on Finder this was not the result of a flaw in the network or wallet, but instead was the result of fraud: "By using a well-crafted phishing website that appeared to be a legitimate IOTA seed generator, they were able to collect a large number of seeds over
a long period of time.

The scoring system
