Most people know better than to go barging into any old abandoned building that pops up along their path. But for some people, the spirit of exploration is too much to overcome, and they just can’t help themselves. I was always curious about the strange building attached to a town hall in Scotland. So one day, when I just couldn’t resist the curiosity anymore, me and a friend decided to take the plunge inside. And what we found was much more than bargained for.
This is the mysterious structure from the outside.
Under what we thought was an event hall, we came upon what looked like… jail cells.
The rooms (or cells) had concrete beds.
There was a lot of graffiti in the cells.
It seemed like many people had been in this place.
This must have been the window they used to feed the prisoners.
