In 1990, an incredible mysterious blue stone was discovered by Angelo Pitoni, an Italian geologist and archaeologist whom visited a region known as Kono in Sierra Leone, to survey the area which is said to have a rich deposit of diamonds.
The company that he was employed by, intended to obtain a concession to exploit resources, from the government, in return for building a number of houses in the area.
It is during his exploration of the area, that the stone was discovered after having removed a few layers of soil. The stone was a magnificent blue colour, with white lines on the surface.
The tribal chief told Pitoni an ancient legend, which according to them, explains why the area was so rich in diamonds. According to legend, God found that a revolt was about to break out amongst his angels. He then turned them in to statues and expelled them to earth, but with them, a part of the sky and stars fell with the angels on earth, and it is thus why the natives believe that the area is so rich in minerals.
Angelo Pitoni, sent the rock to various labs around the world for testing, and they all concluded that the stone has not been naturally formed and is surprisingly composed of 77 Percent Oxygen, and the remaining percentage is made up of Carbon, Silicon and Calcium.
The most fascinating thing about the artefact is that researchers are unable to determine how the stone received it’s blue tone, as the particular minerals that the stone is composed of, is not known to cause a blue colour.
The stone was also subjected to vigorous testing which included acid, heat and various other elements but it remained unaltered.
Finally researchers decided to crush one piece of the rock and mixed it with acetone, hexane and methylene. Using ultrasound, they were able to detect an organic compound that was unknown to science and believed to be 55000 years old!
Many researchers believe that the blue stone was created by an ancient civilization that existed on earth. Perhaps there is more to the legend of the natives? Is it an ancient stone manufactured by a lost civilization or a mere naturally created stone? Either way, it is extraordinary discovery!
This stone is maybe extra terrestial! Very interesting article, thanks for sharing!
I also thought it may be or maybe from the Annunki. Glad you enjoyed the article :-)
