Before I dig deep into my take on the various mythological accounts, what they truly represent, and how they can teach us about the potentially true history of our past here is a list of things that I want all of you to keep in mind:
There are at least 10,000 years (more like 30,000 plus years when you count cave paintings and oral traditions, possibly a lot older) of mythology throughout the world and this means that it is literally impossible to cover all of the myths that there are in one lifetime.
I am no expert on mythology even if it may come across as if I am and because of that I may make mistakes in my assumptions or understanding of things. I cannot read in any of the ancient languages of the past and therefore at the whims of translators. However, I am extremely well researched and I always do my homework so to speak.
Because I am no expert you should assume that whatever my newest work is it is the one that is the most up to date and thus the most accurate.
I am still learning about myths (and probably always will be) and thus I may recant on some of my earlier assumptions and so if six months from now you see me change my tune on some aspect of mythology this is why.
I will be going over the myths how I see fit not necessarily how you think that I should do them or the order that I should do them. However, you are of course encouraged to tell me what you would like me to cover. I will do so at my own discretion of course though.
I will be pulling from scholarly work to help support my ideas this may include but is by no means limited to history, archeology, astronomy, astrophysics, biology, chemistry, genetics, and other sources.
This one person's attempt to make sense of the world and to create a new tapestry of what we have been told by explaining things that would otherwise be inexplicable. It is an arduous task and one that may never satisfactorily be resolved.
If I am ever unsure about something that I bring up then I will tell you the various theories that I have and lay out the pros and cons of each one so that you can draw your own conclusions.
Most importantly keep an open mind about all of this and enjoy learning about the various myths from all over the world and please comment and bring up questions about the myths.
