THE RULING PARTY IN NIGERIA (APC) SOAKS IN CONFUSION; ENGAGE NIGERIANS IN HARDSHIP.
NasNews – Godson N.I
It is obvious that the recent challenges’ thrilling the political structure in Nigeria is worrisome. Several issues of insecurity; economic hardship, unemployment, fuel scarcity, Fulani herdsmen attack, colonies over ranch deliberations, 2019 general election tussle, and the most recent of all, the open letter of President Obasanjo that suggests a new coalition movement for Nigeria has left the nation, especially the ruling class in absolute confusion.
As it may be, Nigeria is the largest country in Africa, geographically and otherwise. We have managed to bear the pains that eventually made us stronghold in Africa; there is diversity in our tribes, ethnics, languages, people etc, but we are still a nation bounded together.
We should not allow a group of political elites or the gathering of local farmers to dictate the value of our struggles overtime; we must in togetherness challenge the cravings of “Bushmen” who have decided to weigh their cattle on the same scale as humans - what a disgusting submission.
The life of every Nigerian is more important than any cow, farm or what have you. We cannot continue to allow confused leaders to decide our future, because, it is obvious that we may be sinking into our old undesired past. Yes, we voted change because we were tired of the oversized manipulations by the former ruling party. But today the situation is yet to change as we anticipated, based on the promises that they professed. However, to an extent some credits and achievement is visible, but are there achievements sustainable? That is one question we must ask ourselves, especially those who speak so much of the ruling party on a baseless scale.
Today, I have grabbed my pen to pour out my grievances on the recent development in our great country, and also to encourage those who are at the receiving sides of the recent dearth bedevilling our nation.
My advice is this, lets from today begin to see the situations and developments of Nigeria as an individual responsibility; Nigeria belongs to all of us and not to a few. If the nation is sailed to cap-side, we all shall sink. So why do we have to close our mouths, fold our arms and allow uncircumcised captains to sail the national ship.
When things get bad, we all suffer it. Then we should know, that we cannot allow a few to allow things go bad for us as a nation. We are Nigerians, am proud to be a Nigerian; we must fight together in the spirit of national interest and individual sacrifice for the unequivocal growth, development and advancement of Nigeria.
The call for a new coalition movement in Nigeria is apparent.
