Content Cucking.

in #nationalism4 years ago

Listening to some strong advice regarding 'Content Cucking' has led me to take time away from the chat groups over the past week or two to try to be more productive in various ways and think about what I could do differently. Not that I don't post too much shite on Twitter, but that is not the point of what I am going to say here.

It is quite obvious that my writing project has not picked up quite as I had intended it to; it seemed like a good idea to start writing under my current alias when we were suddenly confined to our homes. Yet, one cannot hide from the fact that it is more than 4 months since an article ever appeared on this blog. This blog is the reason that I post as 'Tom Doulton' and it must not be forgotten.

There are some reasons for the gap between blog posts. The lock-down may have brought many of us additional spare time that could be used for creative pursuits but it seemed to me to act like some kind of depressing sedative; one that destroyed my will to do anything in this area, even more so than any slight increase in alcohol or junk food consumption.

The reopening of the gyms and the quest for a new day job has reawakened me somewhat and made life worth living; it is now also the time to get writing again, even I will just be rambling rather aimlessly at this stage until I get into the groove of regular content creation once more.

Turmoil has been brought about not only by the virus but also by political struggles which I touched upon in my previous articles, when a man resembling a brown leather chair (shown above) ended his drug habit once and for all, with the unexpected assistance of a White police officer. The chimp-out reaction to this of course, made me quite angry and reconsider my previously moderate stances.

It was perhaps healthy and useful to take a break to avoid getting lured into the temptation to regularly fedpost and take action of a rather inappropriate nature, but also to forgive oneself for previously accepting excessively 'conservative' and capitalist beliefs. Many of us moved to the mainstream right as a way to reject left-wing politics, while also failing to recognise that these beliefs were in fact to a large extent also built upon the same Western liberal values that led the Western world towards the dire situation that it faces today.

Readers originating from certain circles will notice the CivNat baggage and ridicule me for it. Yet what is written on Hive cannot usually be removed and future posts will likely illustrate how my politic stances have shifted somewhat; the race riots have made several people begin to identify more among racial lines, the lockdown restrictions gave people more spare time trapped indoors to go down the rabbit hole, think and reflect upon certain realities of the world and privately accept truths that are still considered taboo.

It has been a very painful process, I had to accept that I did not know everything and that my developing beliefs would face hostility from many people, no matter how correct my statements may eventually turn out to be. What's more, I have increasingly felt that I had been lied to by society itself; supposed perpetual victims were in fact merely our occupying oppressors, they are responsible for a lot of what is currently wrong with world via the rather dishonest means of subversion and deceit.

While we all owe a huge debt of gratitude to all of the the truth tellers, be they podcast creators, streamers or authors that have created the content that allowed us to open our eyes, provided a community and offered support to those who are crossing over towards nationalism, many of us have simply consumed content without offering anything in return.

This post won't exactly be a classic and the fear of failing to impress readers brought about some degree of procrastination. However, now that I have got some words down onto this blog again, I hope that I can remind anybody taking the time to read this post of just one thing:

We all have ways to give back and contribute by producing our content in some form or another as we all own computers, smartphones, camcorders or pens and paper. We can all find our ways to get involved in real life activism, be it taking the time to talk to people directly, attending the events or even groyping. We should not just take but give back. Donate to your favourite content creators, share their work but also try to do something by yourself.

Thank you for reading,

Tom.

P.S - I strongly suggest that many of you get an account and start posting on Hive, it may not be the largest of platforms, but it will allow you to post articles that cannot easily be removed.
