I got to hear @wildfamily along with @cabelindsay's HIVE Open Mic videos and I fell instantly in love with her voice.

I also want to share with you I Alone Can Define Myself - a reading that both empowered and broke my heart.
I BEG you to give both of them a read. We can ALL benefit from it - it doesn't matter if you are male or female, but specially if you're a mom, as I'm sure a lot of us have gone through the same or very similar process in our life. So, we can all heal together.
Of Koalas as the Greatest (self) Love Masters
Personally, I have a really hard time with physical contact - it's just something extremely intimidating to me.
So, this made me think; a Koala's way of being actually INVOLVES hugging... everything. I mean, it's a Koala. Nobody is going to tell them to stop, right? And even if they would, would the Koala stop? No, it wouldn't... Because it is a Koala. And it doesn't exist Koala WITHOUT hugging.
Maybe, I could imagine myself as a koala. And nobody would make fun of me -nor hurt me- for showing them my affection. Because I'm Ney. And it doesn't exist a Ney without hugging either.

Sobre cómo habla el alma a través del color

O, tal vez, no solo nuestro verbo y tacto nos permiten demostrar nuestro cariño. ¿Y los otros sentidos? Pienso que las melodías podrían ser la manera de hacerle el amor a nuestro oído. Los bebés parecen nadar en un mar de paz y dicha infinita con al oir canciones de cuna. Creo que incluso a nosotros, como adultos, nos pasa.

Or, perhaps, not only our verb and touch allow us to show our affection. What about the other senses? Melodies could be the making-love way for our hearing. Babies seem to flow into infinite peace and bliss when they hear lullabies. Even us as grown-ups do.
And what about sight? Could we express our emotions just with some (digital) brushes on a (digital) canvas? That's what @alejandra.her does.

Also, it seems funny to me how what we see will not necessarily be what she actually felt. For example, what does this painting make you all feel?

This is a wonderful curation piece. Thank you so much for mentioning me and following my story. I was stunned by @alejandra.her art work. It was beautiful; I fell in love with that piece. I want it to be real and hanging in my living room! There is this part of me that wants to recreate it in oil paints. It reminds me of every woman's internal battle that she wages alone, in her own mind; in her own body. Regardless of what I think; it spoke to me. I am happy you curated it; and that she put it out into the world. Thank you:)
