Paths to transformation

If I looked at my present self compared to myself a year ago, I am beyond grateful, yet I know that I still have a lifetime of work to do. I am not saying that I am living purely for myself, but one of my biggest realizations is that I do not belong to anyone. I could not live my life trying to make everyone happy. I have learnt to cut the ties that held me back from my dreams and goals. I am following my intuition allowing myself to shine my light and encouraging others to shine their light.

Now enough with the beginning of a new transformation in my life. The three realms of transformation brought me to this beautiful life-changing experience based on my own experience, some of my spiritual mentors and research. Before we begin, it is essential to acknowledge that this article reflects my perspective. In other words, a person's transformation can feel completely different because of our individuality and self-knowledge.

The first realm

I like to call this realm the safety bubble where we think that nothing in our world can change if we remain inside. This safety bubble is comfortable and extremely hard to pop. We think why we would ever want to live that unnecessary stress of the unknown. When we are in the comfort of our safety bubble, we do not dare to question any of our belief systems and not even stop questioning what we see on the news. Our primary source of knowledge is our family's belief system, our religious beliefs, traditions, and whatever is considered "normal" in our society. Many people in this realm do not feel the need to question anything and are quite comfortable with that decision. That is okay. Many of us are not ready and may not ever be ready to consider piercing a tiny hole to see what is outside. We live in a society driven by the fear of the unknown. We value any "truth," especially when it comes from mainstream media to what some of us watch on the 6 o'clock news. However, when people start questioning their belief systems and their current reality, they start to transition towards the second realm. They are beginning to seek their truth and not live only to seek acceptance from others.

The second realm

First, I like to describe this realm like a pinhole in the balloon. This is the realm where we allow more space for our thoughts and feelings on life's meaning. This space will enable us to seek our own truth, and it increases our self-empowerment. A person begins to scrape up a bit of the layer, which brings on some discomfort and this indescribable feeling of power. The moment a person realizes that the truth is hidden deep within themselves may be one of the most important realizations in their current life.

In the second realm, a person may start to realize that human beings are truly interconnected. We start tearing down our walls created by prejudices and old belief systems. Now we start living our lives according to our inner self by taking in external influences that align with ourselves and respectfully leaving out other elements that are not aligned with what we feel is our true self. We realize that there is truth in everything, and we start discerning the differences, we discover our true self. Here is a personal example: I spent the first 25 years of my self a catholic but secretly questioning some of the elements that didn't make sense. I felt ashamed of questioning; however, with time, I decided to make a shift.

Since then, I choose to seek some truth in all my observations by assimilating the things that resonate with my inner self. I feel the need to advise you, and the second realm is not an easy process. It demands a lot of humility, digging deep, realizing and accepting your flaws and much more. But personally, for me, the hard work is worth the positive life-changing experience.

In brief, the second realm is where a person clears everything out of their closet and brings it to light. It is not easy, and it is often quite uncomfortable, but storms come a rainbow after all. You realize that you aren't that special. We are all the same. Your train of thought with most likely be something like "We are all interconnected," and we start to seek truth from the material works within ourselves. Now that a person has opened up and can live with humility, they slowly start transitioning to the third realm of transformation.

The third realm of transformation

The third realm of transformation is when we realize that we are all one, we are just all connected, we all come from the same place. Therefore, there is no room for any separation. For example, amazon's wildfires affect that part of the world and affect us. We are not only talking about the ecosystem, but we are talking about energetically. When we started living in the third realm, we feel deep compassion for every living thing, even when we are miles apart. In the realm, a person does not feel the need to rely on external influence to seek the truth; they feel it from within and use it as their guidance system. We have complete faith in our intuition, and every action and thoughts out of compassion and love. What makes it challenging to remain in this realm is our ego. This third realm is tough to describe, and we have to experience it to understand it truly. I can only describe it from my perspective on what I have experienced and researched, but only you can know how it feels when you get to the third realm. We can experience this realm for a split second, or some people can remain in this for their lifetime.

A final say…

Now my last statement brings us again to the realization that even these realms are in constant movement. In other words, a person can transition to the second realm and take a step back to the first realm when the transformation begins to become too uncomfortable. The same goes between the third and the second realm. Nevertheless, once you taste a higher realm, it is much easier to reenter a higher realm. I believe that we are meant to be in constant evolution; thus, the realms do not work linearly. Hence, a person can go from the first realm to the third realm; it all depends on their willingness, readiness, and life events.

I also think that the ego tends to keep us in the first realm, focusing on avoiding uncomfortable feelings and living in the sense of "false" security. I think of it as fall security because everything is in constant motion, and even what seems impossible can come possible. For example, this pandemic busted most of humanity's security bubble. For years we thought we were living in the land of freedom and perfection, but I think we all got a taste of what life is about. I believe that humanity is shifting from living in a world of separatism to a unity world. We are all going through this pandemic in some way, our individuality makes it so that we are living it differently, but this pandemic connects us all. Whether we want it to or not, this is affecting us globally.

I am very hopeful for the future; I feel like humanity is more than just what we see externally, but we are on the path to discover that we are powerful in our unique ways. Let's all shine our light together because when we let our light shine, we encourage the whole of humanity to shine its light. I believe that if we let each other shine in our unique ways, humanity will achieve its greatest goal of unity.
