There are so many good herbs we can have to ease nervous system tension.
It’s the embodied nature of anxiety that’s the key. The way it gets patterned into our nervous and muscular system, so I always found I needed to work on that alongside prescribing medicines.
Yoga and Tai Chi / Qigong are the best physical practices by far for this sort of thing. I have my own understanding about why gym fitness and running are not appropriate in these cases (perhaps I’ll write about it).
self-pleasure covers this topic....The other one of course, is really great, lengthy, pleasurable sex with a trusted lover. Because it’s the real test of being able to surrender into the most vunerable space and relax the nervous system. Again, probably another there, although I think @thetreeoflife’s recent post on
