Ajna Chakra
It is located between the eyebrows. Ajna, means command. It controls our sense of intuition, self discipline, behaviour and judgement. Ajna Chakra is in charge of our brain and neurological system and that includes Pineal glands.
In the Science of yoga, a person with an active Ajna Chakra has a good sense of judgement and can approach difficult things with calmness. People that has a blocked Ajna Chakra can suffer from various problems such as stroke, migraine, tumors, sinusitis, insomnia and high blood pressure.

Sharnaghata Mudra (Surrender pose)
Procedure
- Be seated in Vajrasana with your hands placed on your knees
- Inhale and raised your hands up
- Exhale and bend forward placing your forehead firmly on the ground and stretching your hands ahead - Hips should not lift off the ground and are placed on your knees
- Hold this pose from 10 - 30 seconds and breathe normally.

Anulon - Vilom Pranayama
Procedure
- Sit in meditative pose
- fold the forefinger and middle finger of your right hand
- Place your ring finger at the center of your eyebrows, and press your thumb on the right nostril
- hold your breathe
- On the reverse position, place your thumb between your eyebrows, and press the left nostril with your ring finger
- Exhale through the right nostril
- Now inhale through your right nostril and hold
- Reverse the position of your fingers and exhale through the left
- Repeat this cycle for at least 15- 20 times everyday
